My Experience
Welcome to my site. My name is Abdallah Al Alfy — though most people call me Alfy. I work at the intersection of science, strategy, and storytelling. My background spans pharmacy, biotech, education, and communications.
My work ranges from regulatory storytelling and clinical writing to proposal development and technical content strategy. I consult on communication and decision-support challenges that require both subject-matter depth and audience awareness — whether the output is a CTD section, a grant narrative, a market access explainer, or a clean stakeholder map.
I hold an M.Sc. in Applied Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I became the program’s first graduate to complete all three tracks (QA & Compliance, R&D, Business Management). I also hold a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard in Literature & Creative Writing.
I’ve worked with B2B health-tech startups, enterprise healthcare platforms, and cross-functional pharma teams. Alongside that, I’ve maintained a parallel writing path in journalism, literature, and education. I continue to teach occasionally, write regularly, and take on content-sensitive assignments across sectors.
